Helvét Kft. was established as a completely Swiss-owned company in 1991, with the objective of supplying the Hungarian industry with Swiss and German cutting tools of excellent quality.
These were the following:
- DIXI - hard metal tools
- MANIGLEY - screw taps
- RÖNTGEN - band-saws
- DENITOOL - switch-plate tools
- VALLORBE - HSS milling machines, precision files
Since then, the selection of products has significantly changed; the actual selection you can find under the menu point "Products".
The persistence of the 2 employees of the company and the continuous participation at the trade fairs resulted in the distributed brand names becoming more and more widely known despite the fact that in these years the Hungarian market was the subject of unprecedented rearrangement: the market players were hit by increasing unemployment, insolvency, bad supply with labour force, etc.
In 1994 49% of the company became Hungarian-owned and a continuous development started, which is still ongoing. The basis of this was the unbroken improvement of the economic situation, the enlargement of the office headcount, the regional distribution of the country by salesman and making the following strategic decisions.
Major milestones in the life of the Company
- 1997: Making band-saws endless locally and by this quick serving of customers
- 1999-2000: Purchasing two new welding machines, which considerably increased the capacity and made it possible to weld bimetal bands in the 20 to 100 mm range
- 2001: Establishment of the Blaser coolant-lubricant division; exclusive distribution of these materials in Hungary
- January 2002: The Company became completely Hungarian-owned. - 2002: Exclusive representation of the JOKE polishing technology in Hungary
- 2005: New premises enabling further growth
- 2005: Exclusive distribution of the DANOBAT sawing machines in Hungary
- 2007: Establishment of the machine tool division; distribution of System 3R clamping systems and BREMA wires for wire electrical discharge machining
- 2009: Establishment of Fluid management groups at some of our customers
Establishment of Hungária Kft. and distribution of the selection of Precitool products in Hungary.
- 2010: - Enlargement of the warehouse building
- Distribution of own-brand (HELVÉT) products: milling machines, band-saws, sawing machines, etc.
Our objective is to offer good value for money products to our partners. We keep enlarging our selection of products in 2011, too.
- Introduction of a new corporate management software
- 2011: The objective is to strengthen the distribution of machine tools within the turnover of our company. For this we are looking for new suppliers and develop our relationship with the existing ones.
Our goal is to more and more intensively participate in the development of the Hungarian industry and, therefore, we kindly ask you to be our partner in this.
